About RRC

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of our college is a voluntary initiative that aims to create awareness about HIV/AIDS, promote healthy lifestyles, and instill values of responsibility, care, and compassion among youth. The club works actively to educate students on health, wellness, and social responsibility while fostering peer-to-peer learning and community outreach.

Vision

To build a generation of youth who are socially responsible, health-conscious, and committed to preventing HIV/AIDS and promoting a positive lifestyle.

Mission
  • Create awareness about HIV/AIDS, its prevention, and stigma reduction.
  • Promote voluntary blood donation and safe health practices.
  • Develop responsible attitudes among students through peer education.
  • Encourage youth to actively participate in health and social welfare programs.
    Objectives
    • Educate youth on HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and support.
    • Promote life skills and healthy behavior among students.
    • Encourage students to participate in blood donation drives.
    • Develop leadership qualities and a spirit of social service.
    Activities & Initiatives
    • HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaigns – Street plays, rallies, and seminars.
    • Blood Donation Camps – Encouraging voluntary and safe blood donation.
    • Workshops & Training Sessions – On health, hygiene, life skills, and stigma reduction.
    • Observation of World AIDS Day – Awareness events with student participation.
    • Peer Education Programs – Empowering youth to spread health messages effectively.
    Achievements
    • Successfully conducted awareness programs in both campus and community.
    • Organized multiple blood donation camps with active student participation.
    • Recognized for spreading awareness on HIV/AIDS through rallies and cultural events.
