The Women’s Cell of the college is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for female students and staff members. It plays a pivotal role in promoting gender equality, raising awareness on women’s rights, and addressing gender-related issues.
Objectives
- To safeguard the rights of women and promote equality in the institution
- To provide counseling and career guidance for women students.
- To organize awareness programs on women’s health, safety, and legal rights.
- To sensitize students and staff on gender-based issues and ensure zero tolerance towards harassment.
Major Activities
- Regular orientation programs on women’s rights and safety measures.
- Self-defense workshops, health check-up camps, and awareness campaigns.
- Special lectures by women leaders, achievers, and legal experts.
- Observing International Women’s Day and organizing debates, seminars, and cultural events focused on women empowerment.
- Establishing a grievance redressal mechanism for issues pertaining to women’s safety and dignity.
