About YRC

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) of our college is a voluntary humanitarian movement that inspires students to serve society with compassion and commitment. Guided by the principles of the Red Cross Society, the unit works to promote health, humanitarian values, and social service among youth. YRC is a platform where students develop leadership qualities, social responsibility, and empathy while engaging in activities that benefit the community.

Mission
  • Promote health awareness and personal well-being among students and the community.
  • Provide a platform to discover, develop, and showcase hidden talents.
  • Encourage voluntary blood donation and lifesaving humanitarian services.
  • Develop leadership, discipline, and teamwork through service-oriented programs.
  • Create awareness of social issues and prepare students to respond to emergencies.
    Activities & Initiatives
    • Blood Donation Camps - Organizing voluntary blood donation drives on campus.
    • Health Awareness Programs – Sessions on first aid, hygiene, and disease prevention.
    • Disaster Relief & Preparedness Training – Equipping students to respond in emergencies.
    • Community Outreach – Visiting villages, hospitals, and schools to spread awareness
    • World Red Cross Day & National Days Observance – Promoting the Red Cross movement and humanitarian values.
    Achievements
    • Conducted regular blood donation camps with significant student participation.
    • Organized health check-up camps and first aid training sessions
    • Active involvement in community relief programs and awareness campaigns.
